AVICII in Manila- Remastering Cool with Ray-Ban

Had to sneak in my Olympus cammy to the concert & getting retweeted by Avicii twice made it worth it! Still getting tons of notifications of people retweeting my photos. Craaaaazy.

So glad I got the chance to watch Avicii at the MOA Arena last night! I was sick the first time he came to Manila so I had to back out from the event even if I was already dressed & made up. 

I can't even explain how amazing the sound & visuals were, my photos don't do 'em justice! I was staring the whole time & dancing. I spent the whole day sourcing in heels so my feet were dead tired, but that didn't stop me from enjoying (take note- zero alcohol!). The big surprise for me was when he dropped some Notorious B.I.G.- the whole arena went wild!!! I still can't believe how he's only my age! 

Such a FUN night, thank you so much to Ray-Ban Philippines for the tickets and for hosting my blog giveaway!

I may not have worn Ray-Bans during the concert, but I wore my clubmasters to work that day...

And yes, I had them changed into prescription lenses. I really love these frames!

Just a sneak preview of our campaign shoot for the skin care line Defensil... We were instructed to wear neutrals so the safest thing I could grab from my black-infested cabinets included a Lycra dress and cardigan from Topshop. Literally just grabbed whatever light-colored items I could find after a meeting in the morning, just so I'd make it in time for the shoot and then be able to walk into another meeting right after. I thought I'd post the last two photos just to show that I can be a bit demure at times... Totally became the butt of all girly jokes yesterday since they were all used to seeing me in dark everything (not including my soul. Heh.). 

I had fun getting tortured at the shoot since they wanted me to smile more... Typical. Would you believe that whenever I'm forced to smile at shoots the crew always has to make me laugh just so my teeth would show? I'm cursed with an extremely small smile and my gums never peek out so I'm more comfortable just staring into the camera. There you go, the secret's out. 

I also attended the Globe Christmas party for bloggers after my meeting but I only have a few iPhone photos to share with you guys. Posting them just for the memriez!

Cheyser

Managed to snap some portraits of Cheyser yesterday after taking each other's outfit shots. I've been wanting to do a series of portraits featuring friends with little to no makeup. Wanted to convert these to black and white but I thought the colors matched her personality. I've always loved looking at simple portraits like these, backlit, bright and pure, with the subject's eyes piercing through....
