Walkie Talkies

Thanks to Sam for lending me this Gucci dress. It's a shame had to fold it twice cos the length wasn't working with my thigh-high boots.

Wish I could wear my hair like this more often but those waves resulted from backing out from the up do on the last minute. Some looks are so photogenic but look like crap IRL.

Will gladly accept new lippies for Christmas this year... Notice that I only have two in my kit- Russian Red and Rebel from MAC. So far my list's comprised of lipstick, scented candles and a vacuum cleaner. Mom, I hope you're reading this!

Cheyser

Managed to snap some portraits of Cheyser yesterday after taking each other's outfit shots. I've been wanting to do a series of portraits featuring friends with little to no makeup. Wanted to convert these to black and white but I thought the colors matched her personality. I've always loved looking at simple portraits like these, backlit, bright and pure, with the subject's eyes piercing through....

It's been more than a year since I've used this iPhone app. I think I neglected it for a while because it didn't have the self-shot feature and it didn't allow me to use photos from my camera roll to add effects. I don't know why it took me forever to figure out that I could always take a photo of a photo on my iMac or my iPad!

I made up for the weekend that I was deprived of by staying home yesterday (Monday), which was timely since my driver was with mum in Baguio. Managed to spend some money at home (boo!!!) buying films and lenses  for this app and I went on a crazy editing spree. What I love the most is that you can make anything look like it was taken with a TLR camera or 35mm camera! Takes me back to when I was a freshman, broke and struggling to find some extra cash to spend on "special films" and  having them cross-processed/developed. AGH. At least I can do all that with my iPhone now, even if there's nothing like the real deal. Although I'd rather do more of Hipstamatic than spend hours crying over blank films. Heeeee...
