late post: Preview's 15th Anniversary at the Penthouse

I was using my Flip camera more during the event so I just relied on others to take photos. This was also before I bought a smaller camera... Thank you so much to Issa, Mia, Mikey and Paolo for providing me enough pictures for this blog post. :) (Check out Mikey, Kryz and Paolo's blogs for more photos!)

Issa was my date that night. Picked her up and we went together at around 10:30. The event started at 9 so we missed the photo-ops and awarding! We also missed the pre-party at Maya. I didn't feel well hours before the event and Issa wanted to take her time, too. We both did our makeup.
Camille Co made my dress and Issa got hers from Ron Enrico. The theme was "Crystals".

Mia was really easy to spot in her Kate Torralba dress! Kate is her cousin, btw.

Paoie won that Canon camera for being the best dressed male that night. Congrats!

Mikey was the first one who sent me invites. I never really get the chance to visit Cebu anymore, but this was something I really looked forward to! Thanks for remembering that I'm a Cebuana!

See, not much photos. We were busy talking to tons of friends from Cebu and the place was PACKED! It was an epic night indeed. Lots of beautiful people, celebrities, and I think the highlight of the night for me was when Daryl Chang said "I love your hair!" In reply, I told her that I loved hers, too. Her bleached crop was so cool! Well, we did surprise everyone when Issa and I walked in with super short hairdos. That was also my FIRST TIME to see her with her new cut! We live in the same city yet we don't see each other often. Well, I'm glad people like our new looks. We're really addicted to short hairstyles now. I think it's cos we've had long hair since we were little (there was a time mine reached my knees, I kid you not!) and we live in a really humid country, so change is definitely good.

:)

Congratulations to Preview and the fashionable team in Cebu for organizing a great event!

Foodtrippin on a Saturday at Salcedo

Finally got to meet our long-time online friend, Tin! She had a shawarma.

Issa had a shawarma, too!

I had some super delish eggplant lasagna! The ladies at the booth commented that they loved my hair and makeup... Which is quite a compliment since the makeup look I had on was my everyday/rushed makeup routine :D

Issa captured me powdering my nose... I love Make Up For Ever's DUO MAT powder foundation, by the way. It's the closest thing to oil-blotting powder they have. It's a foundation when used with a sponge, but works really well as a loose powder when applied with a brush. I love it. Good value for your money!

OH, and look at my damn hair! Just 2 days after my haircut and it already feels longer :( I am addicted to the sharp newly-clipped feel of hair and now it's too soft! Call me obsessed, but Issa can relate!!!

If mum or Gigi went with me, I would've brought home tons of fresh produce... I didn't have much cash and enough hands to carry so many stuff.

Yes, Cebu lechon's popular here... They get sold out by 1 PM every Saturday!

Bought 2 mangga-flavored ones, one langka (jackfruit) and one ube with langka BudBuds for Dad but I ended up helping him with them! LOL. Loved all of em especially the mango-flavored ones (real fruit stuffed inside the sticky rice! YUMMM)

These sugar-free pastillas were quite good, too!

I wanna try the kimchi rice next time, even if I must be the only Asian who isn't a fan of rice.

Issa's "Tumblr-worthy" awsome chocolate-bar notebook!

I think only my high school batchmates and a few Cebuano people would get that phrase on the poster... It can sound like "Nganung buri mo?" LOL

And finally, we bumped into Kate Torralba! So funny how she was trying to tell Issa to watch our gigs (she was supposed to play for Heima that night, too, but she had a wedding to attend). She's actually Issa's godsister (if that makes sense) and had no idea that Iss and I were almost like sisters :)) Met her during a couple of gigs and she said she liked my new haircut. Yay!

Planning on visiting again next Saturday, with some friends or my mom this time... She's visiting and bringing along my brother for the long weekend. Can't wait!!!

The Salcedo market happens every Saturday
from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Salcedo Park, Makati.

Clearer photo of the white GF1. Isn't it so pretty???

After our photo shoot at Heima last night, I decided to just cancel my LX5 order and looked for a white GF1 online. My LX5 didn't get delivered to my house that night too, because of "traffic" (psshhh) so I took that as a sign... Initially, I didn't want it since I had a DSLR (the GF1 is considered to be the smallest DSLR in the world) plus I just really wanted a pocket camera to bring with me everyday. The LX3 proved to be a really excellent camera before I sold it to Vito, so I thought that upgrading to the LX5 was fine for me. Sulit.com.ph proved to be really helpful since Henry's in Quiapo didn't have white ones on hand, and the ones I found online were cheaper (and offered free delivery) by a couple of thousands. Everyone kept saying that the white version was rare, but luckily I only had to ask 3 stores til I found one that still carried it. It's slightly more expensive than the black or red ones, but Inez advised me to just get it since it would be worth a lot in the future (if ever I decide to sell it).

I've been wearing bracelets from Charmed Life

Here's the team! Grabbed these photos from Tricia. YAY! And that was my hair before having it cut (which I should've done before this shoot, grr). My hair grows out really fast! The stylist was even shocked and told me that I had to go back every two weeks. Say whuttt?!

Can't wait to see the final catalogue! I took photos of BJ and BJ was the main photog who took photos of Tricia and I.

And ooooh fun iPhone photos from the shoot! Tricia and BJ took clearer BTS pics but I was too busy using my Flip cam to capture videos (video post soon) so I didn't bother taking my DSLR around. Heeee :)
