I lost the lock for my DSLR & tripod so I couldn't take a decent shot. I spy: Chunky the hippo, 1/4 of my brother's flamingo puppet, denim jackets: CLUTTER! That's Riz's shirt, btw. And I wore my glasses coz I had to rest my eyes from wearing contacts. Had dry, reddish eyes 2 days ago and that means I oughtta give them a break. I HATE wearing glasses, they pinch the bridge of my nose and makes it hard for me to peek through the viewfinder of my camera. Poo.

Had an awesome time at Mag:Net High Street last night for Good Morning High Five's (June's band) anniversary! It was nice seeing tons of CSB peeps again. Great music, great crowd, happy times! :)

Bands who performed included: Faspitch (yay Cebuanos!), Hilera, Taken By Cars, Enemies of Saturn, Na, Luis Justin & Ria, and of course... Good morning High Fives!

Riz and I were supposed to do a gig at a different venue, but when we were informed about it last week, she already had her ticket for Cebu on the same night. Oh well.

New videos from us

This is how we practice for gigs-- we do videos so we can hear our voices properly :)

"Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy
(we did this song 2 years ago but we had to record it again for something.)

Last Tuesday we ended up singing at Capone's. We went there cos we thought we were gonna have a meeting, but they asked us to perform 3 songs. Totally a spur-of-the-moment thing, so we did covers and failed to sing Riz's originals (even if we rehearsed 3 of them together in the car-- that's how we roll). It was fun! Performed right after Taken By Cars and before Rico Blanco.

We felt like super newbs compared to those other performers. Gosh! Scary. But it was an awesome experience!

And oh, we've been getting TONS of requests, you can't even imagine. It's hard to choose which songs to sing cos we don't wanna do anything too mainstream (or songs done too many times on YouTube), plus Riz has to play it and she's hella busy with school and coming up with new songs she was asked to do (she has to write 20 songs or something). Sorry if we haven't been doing any of your requests for now, I've lost track of how many requests we've been getting. If we think we can pull it off and make it "our own", we have to play it again and again and rehearse the harmonies. But your suggestions really help us, seriously. We're not so familiar with a lot of music out there, most especially the local music scene. Blame it on having a love-hate relationship with our TV and radio :P

Still having trouble deciding over the first or second name for our tandem. (meaning we've narrowed it down! Yay!)

Will keep you guys posted...

Trip to Tagaytay during a Tempest (warning: photodump)

Some people hate denim on denim, but I don't really care. (I can live in this jacket forever.)
This getup was soooo not appropriate for the weather.
jacket- DKNY thrift // shirt + skirt- Topshop // bag + heels- Zara
I love my gluttonous friends. ♥

We're hungry!
They have the best bread EVER.

Sonya's Garden, Tagaytay

I did a post about this place before. I'll never get tired of their food and they seem to have additions to the place every time we visit.

The weather was awful but we managed to have fun and snapped some pics outside the dining area for a bit. Borrowed the 50mm Nikkor lens from my friend JC (supposedly for a shoot tomorrow, but I wanted to practice. lol.) and I fell in love with it. Gonna buy my own 50mm lens soon, hopefully this Friday. I've been wanting one since high school!
