Christmas/birthday wishlist

Creating a wish list since my birthday falls just a month after Christmas :)

(My size is W8)

2. Rotring technical drawing pens in 0.5, 0.3 and 0.1

3. Manduka Black Mat PRO OR any good quality yoga mats :)
(Manduka mats can be purchased at Certified Calm, Shangri-la Plaza Mall)

4. Travel-sized makeup brushes from Sigma, Beauty Bar, Suesh, Dollface Cosmetics or any other brand!
-I prefer black kits but other colors will do
-nothing too pricey
-should be small brushes that I can place in my everyday bag

5. A really nice ergonomic chair for my office/study room :)
(Hi, mum and dad!!!)

6. Any BLACK makeup bag

Thankfully we can now purchase them locally thanks to Suesh!

8. Goody StayPut slip-proof grip hair bands
For the gym! I may have short hair now, but my bangs can get annoying while running.

I really am the worst at making wish lists... Seriously. But I think these are things I really need and will be able to use every day :)

Oooh, you can also write me a nice letter as usual if you're a true friend ;) Nobody ever does those anymore since buying things can actually be easier for most people. *sigh*

Have fun shopping for the holidays, everyone!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas :)

Some photos from my recent Cebu trip

With the model, Love and Donique (proprietors of Wearintheworld). I photographed their new collection plus I also did the makeup since all of the makeup artists in the city were booked for some big event (I believe it was the Sinulog Queen thing).

Here's a preview of their new collection! We used one of Paulo's warehouses as our studio... Good thing they had some lights we could use- I only brought my Panasonic Lumix GF1 and didn't have any other equipment!

After that shoot, I rushed to another studio to model for What A Girl Wants' new collection... I'm gonna be in their upcoming fashion show on the 26th as well... Excited for that. Oh btw, I LOVED my makeup from this shoot! I was gonna go to my beau's birthday bash right after but I got a high fever again when I reached home... Still bummed about it til now since I missed an awesome party! But I got to spend the entire Saturday and Sunday with him so that was good...

Oh yes, I just HAD TO get some tests done since everyone feared that I had dengue fever.

Myti kept asking me about cameras since he wanted to get into photography, then he ended up just using his iPhone 4's camera since he said cameras were too pricey. LOL, as if!

Some photos of the Christmas decor that my beau's mum worked on one afternoon (she was really quick!!!) to prepare the house for his second birthday dinner with guests from Manila... She's so good at decorating!

I went straight to school when I landed in Manila... Was still sick and had to endure 6 straight hours of Workshop!!!

I love our school. The staff did an awesome job putting up Christmas decorations! Well, that should be a given since it is, after all, an interior design school...

I'm excited for the holidays!!!

Foodies

Salcedo Market on a Saturday morning

Riz looks like she's enjoying her Wagyu shawarma too much! She's oblivious of everything else that's happening around her.

I got the spicy pad thai from Thai Foods :) my friend Seesee prepares the food with her mum each week and they have so many vegetarian goodies!

woman who always gets bored with her hair.... She dyed it an awesome blue which I've always wanted on my hair!

What Paulo had (Wagyu burger and some lechon) PLUS a Wagyu Shawarma. He tells me it's normal cos he's 6'3"!

baby Nathan is the cutest!!!

Was irrirated since their servers were slow... There was a point when I asked the waitress clearly (and I'm saying that since my father and sister were there and attested that I did, too) "Do you guys put MEAT in your tacos?" since the menu only said "filled with pineapple relish"- to which she confidently replied with a "No, ma'am!"

30 minutes later, this shows up and I'm surprised that it did have meat, so I told them that I wanted to send it back since the girl told me it wouldn't have any meat in it and I was strictly a vegetarian, plus Riz and my dad were really full already.. The same waitress comes to the rescue and says "I thought you asked if the tacos had MILK?" --This was when I rolled my eyes and literally started SMH-ing. Milk in tacos, seriously?!?!? Do I look stupid? AND they wouldn't accept it so we ended up having to pay for it anyways and had it packed up since they wouldn't send it back... Nobody ate it at home afterwards. Only in the Philippines- restaurants and servers will NEVER admit to their mistakes and the motto "the customer is always right" DOES NOT exist!!! Servers beg for you to pay for it since they're always "scared that they will get charged for it."

Now I know why the Stock Market's one of the really few restaurants which never gets full on Sunday nights (Riz and dad chose this resto since the ones we wanted to go to were really packed last night). They really have to train their crew better cos I can see them closing in the near future... I'm usually really nice to restaurants on my blog but this is the nth time we've experienced bad service so I just had to blog about this.
